Oil Markets Moving Back To Oversupply Pricing Band
The oil market is being pushed back into the $30-$50 oversupply pricing band by bearish headwinds, says Morgan Stanley. In a note, the bank says supply from outage hotspots such as Nigeria and Canada is returning to the market, and a growing glut in refined products such as gasoline and mounting concerns over weaker demand are fuelling lower prices. The bank has revised its third quarter price for global benchmark Brent to $45 from $50 a barrel and states that it could go as low as $35.
