Argentina's YPF to Keep Investment Plans to Boost Growth
[Dow Jones] Argentina's national energy company YPF S.A. (YPF), will maintain its capital spending plans for 2015 at last year's level of $6 billion, the company's chief executive Miguel Galuccio says. "The capital expenditure plans represent our commitment to meet the goals the government has set for us to make the country energy self-sufficient," he told The Wall Street Journal at an energy conference in Kuala Lumpur, adding that the South American country is dependent on liquefied natural gas imports to meet part of its local demand. "We find the local oil prices to be remunerative enough to continue to invest and grow," he adds. The company will continue to invest in growth projects, he adds.
