The Oil Market is Rebalancing
ANZ says despite recent fresh growth in industrialized nations' oil inventories and rebounding output in the US, the oil market is slowly rebalancing as the OPEC cuts remains ahead of schedule and demand is faring better than expected. The investment bank adds despite a nearly 10% pullback from recent highs, nothing has changed the past few weeks to suggest oil prices should weaken. "In fact, we still expect the market to be in a much-better condition to withstand this" in 2H. ANZ calls on investors to be patient, saying global stockpiles are ripe for future drawdowns.
