欧洲应该采用LNG作为海运燃料以抑制排放

据道琼斯7月6日消息，可再生能源公司DNV表示，欧洲应该采取措施采用LNG作为海运燃料，以减少排放，控制对大气的污染。但是要在海运领域转变成使用天然气，在欧盟的框架内仍然存在法律和监管的空缺。与当前多数船只使用的重质燃料油相比，使用天然气带来的污染要远远低的多，但是需要对现有的船只和基础设施进行改造，才能使用LNG作为燃料。

Europe Should Adopt LNG as Fuel to Curb Emissions

Europe should make steps to adopt liquefied natural gas as a marine fuel in order to facilitate action towards cleaner air, according to the renewables company DNV GL. But there remain legislative and regulatory gaps in the European Union framework for switching to using the gas. Gas is far less polluting than the current heavy fuel oil which is used for many ships, but it requires updating existing vessels and infrastructure which is not currently suited for LNG use.
