日本8月液化天然气进口下滑

中国石化新闻网讯 据世界天然气网站9月18日消息 日本8月份液化天然气进口量在上月短暂上升后再次下降。

根据日本财务省公布的临时数据，本月日本共进口冷冻燃料610万吨，比2018年8月进口量低19.4%。

8月份液化天然气进口额约为31.6亿美元，同比下滑23.3%。

数据显示，美国液化天然气进口量增长35.2%，达到34.5万吨。与2018年同期相比，来自马来西亚、印度尼西亚、巴布亚新几内亚和文莱等亚洲来源国的进口下滑32.1%，至111万吨。

2018年，从中东进口的液化天然气比同期减少36%，为140万吨；从俄罗斯进口的液化天然气增加11.2%，为58.3万吨。

全国发电用煤进口893万吨，比2018年同期增长20.5%。

Japanese LNG imports slip in August

Japanese imports of liquefied natural gas (LNG) have dropped again in August after a brief rise the previous month.

According to the provisional data released by Japan’s Ministry of Finance, a total of 6.10 million tons of the chilled fuel were imported into Japan during the month under review, 19.4 percent below the amount imported in August 2018.

The value of August LNG imports was about $3.16 billion, sliding 23.3 percent on year.

The data shows that imports of US LNG jumped 35.2 percent, reaching 345,000 tonnes. Imports from Asian sources such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, and Brunei slipped 32.1 percent compared to the corresponding month in 2018, reaching 1.11 million tonnes.

Imports of liquefied natural gas from the Middle East were 36 percent below the corresponding month in 2018 reaching 140,000, while LNG imports from Russia jumped 11.2 reaching 583,000 tonnes.

The country’s coal imports for power generation stands at 8.93 million tonnes, 20.5 percent more than the corresponding month in 2018.
