OPEC Deal Chances Still Only 50%, Says EMI
Many market observers are now starting to believe the hype when it comes to OPEC cuts given the rise in the price of oil, but others are still rooted in the middle ground. Dominick Chirichella from the New York-based Energy Management Institute is one such analyst, believing that there is still only a 50% chance that OPEC will make any meaningful cuts to output. He adds that despite all the "jawboning," no new information has entered the market since last week.
