Trump's Victory Bearish for Oil Demand Growth, Says FGE
[Dow Jones] Donald Trump's victory in the U.S. presidential election is bearish for the emerging markets, which drive oil demand growth, says FGE Energy Aspects. "Trump has been highly critical of international trade agreements and has pledged to renegotiate them. Republicans have typically supported these agreements, so we may see fireworks within the party," the note says. Uncertainty may act as a drag on important economies in Latin America and Asia, FGE adds.
