U.S. crude-oil stockpiles are expected to decrease in data due Wednesday from the Department of Energy, according to a survey of analysts by The Wall Street Journal.
U.S. oil inventories declined by 2.4 million barrels in the week ended May 13, according to the average estimate of the 12 analysts surveyed.
Eleven analysts expect stockpiles to fall, while one projects a rise. Forecasts range from a decrease of 4.7 million barrels to an increase of 2 million barrels.
